Lovely guesthouse and self-catering accommodation on the Côte de Nacre and in the Bessin region.

The Côte de Nacre derives its name from the colours and the play of light that come from its ever-changing skies, which can be compared to the sheen of the mother of pearl in the local shells.

Whatever your preferences - city life, the coast or the countryside - our guesthouses are all sited in the most beautiful locations, with all the sights and attractions of the Calvados region within easy reach – the D-Day beaches and museums, the historical town centre of Caen, capital of basse Normandie and the châteaux and fortified farmhouses of the Bessin area.  Above all, all our guesthouses are built in the traditional local stone, offering us a reminder of our turbulent history.

Our guesthouses and gîtes have been restored and decorated so as to offer you an elegant blend of the traditional and the more contemporary that you’ll be sure to love. We’ll be your hosts  of Pearl Coast.

The Bayeux Tapestry museum, the D-Day museum at Arromanches, the country manors of the Pays d'Auge, the Bessin region’s fortified farmhouses; prestigious abbeys, Renaissance châteaux and Medieval fortresses, churches and cathedrals... the towns and countryside of the Calvados region are where art and history come together!
